If you need to leave your baby at this age, try going out at a different time of day, when your baby is more settled.
Generally though, out of sight is out of mind with tiny babies, so she shouldn't worry too much when you leave.
Just make sure that you leave your baby with someone familiar who can respond sensitively to her needs.
If your baby does become distressed when you leave before eight months, it could be that she’s picking up on your anxiety about separation.
At this stage, she will understand for the first time that when you go away, you might not come back.
